It is absolutely unreal to me that FANGIRLS has been made a prescribed text for HSC drama students. (Under the Topic of Contemporary Australian Theatre Practice).*

📚 If you’re a teacher who is using FANGIRLS in the classroom:

First of all: I love you.

Second of all - I’m going to launch a workshop for teachers on how to use FANGIRLS as a text in the HSC. It will show you different ways to link the text to the curriculum - and load you up with excersizes, resources and insights about the show.

If you’re interested in this workshop, 👉 sign up here 👈 and I’ll email you when the tickets drop!

✍️ If you’re a student studying FANGIRLS:

Have fun! Sorry if I can’t reply to your DM asking for help with your essay.

Also: the HSC can be so stressful and I’m so sorry about that. What I remember about doing the HSC is constantly comparing myself to everyone else, and getting nowhere near enough sleep. I really don’t reccomend this approach. So, I wish you a year that is as stress-free as possible, and full of deep REM sleep.

*If you’re not from Australia - that means that some students in Australia have to study FANGIRLS in their final exams.
